Milkmaid Mini Dress Sewing Pattern – Kira

Definitely one of my favourite sewing patterns. I've already made three of this dresses. The fact that there is even a video tutorial makes it super easy to deeply understand the pattern. Thank you so much!!!

I like the pattern it is accurate, though the video tutorial I need to look thoroughly because they used a white fabric and it is in Spanish and as a complete beginner it is a little bit hard it took me 3 days to finish my dress and it turned out good.

I loved this pattern, I sized up just to have a bit of extra room. The pattern was easy to follow, although there was a language barrier. The bust is a bit big for someone with a small chest. But with this style it doesn’t really matter. I added more length to mine, but will be making this dress again! I’ve gotten so many compliments on this dress. Really cute pattern, I only used the top. I found the instructions a bit confusing but the video tutorial was quite helpful. I think the pattern itself maybe could have done with a couple more notches to help with alignment.

This was my first project and it was easier than I thought it would be! The videos provided really helped a lot. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on the dress and it’s so cool to say that I made it!

This is the second dress I made with my own hands.. i can’t believe it lol tho it does look homemade. I added length to the skirt and removed some things. I made sooo many mistakes! Using stretchy fabric and using the wrong measurements. Not giving enough allowance for hems. Cutting too much. Elastic sleeve too tight (I ended up getting rid of it entirely and I think I’m ok with it). Also didn’t add a zipper because i thought the stretchy fabric would make up for it (it did a bit but the zipper for this fabric I realized later is okay too). I learned so much! Thanks for this pattern and for guiding me towards this whole experience! 🤍

This was such a great pattern! Easy to follow, beautiful structure, and the YouTube instructions made this a breeze. I also found the pattern simple to modify (adding length, adding boning along the seams). Really pleased with the final product!

Great pattern, I made this up quickly and the video was really helpful! Perfect base to make changes. Can’t wait to remake this and add some of my own pattern cutting in there

Great design, very well fitted. The dress turned out beautiful. The sewing is quite complicated. I used the largest size. Instead of a zipper in the back, I sewed an elastic band. I extended the sleeves by 8 cm and added a 12 cm frill to the hem

I love this dress so much . With written and YouTube was pretty easy to put together . Will be making more in different materials .

This is the first dress I’ve ever made and I found the pattern extremely easy to follow. It’s been a massive learning curve but the video tutorial was a massive help. I’ve managed to make a beautiful dress at the end of it so extremely happy.

Very easy to read pattern, and sizing was true to size

Super cute and flattering. I made it in under a day though that’s probably because when I’m focused I’m very focused. Good instructions and didn’t need any alterations :)

there’s a few milkmaid dress patterns out there, and this was not the one i meant to buy (i didn’t realise haha) but in the end i’m glad i did. at first i was concerned because of the limited size range (i’m an AU12 and my measurements were too large for the largest size) but with very minimal adjusting it actually turned out amazing! the instructions are very clear and easy to follow, i think next time i’ll line the bodice though 🤍 love this dress!

i had hiccups in the bust part but that's due to inexperience. don't worry about the bust and sleeve being too big, it's meant to shrink 1/3 of the original. i just pleated the excess sleeve near the elastic. same with the bust, pleated in the center to match the edges.. amazing dress. thank you!

Great pattern Ive had a lot of compliments. The YouTube tutorial was definitely required at some parts and it solved all my queries . If you have a smaller bust you might need to alter the pattern a bit .

I just finished this dress, and I love it. For the price, it really is a bargain as the seller has put a lot of time and effort into it. The sleeves didn’t match up perfectly, but this was easy to fix, and the dress was a bit too big so I cut some off the back panels before putting the zip in, but apart from that it was fairly straight forward. If you are going to make it, definitely do it along side the video as this was very helpful too

It was super cute, however if you have no boobs this is not the dress for you. Also fits true to size/ slightly large so keep your regular size or maybe size down but DO NOT size up. But the YouTube video is super easy to follow where the written instructions are a little more complicated. But overall loved the pattern and will definitely be making this as a shirt.

I loved making this dress!! The pattern was a bit confusing to cut out but that was my own fault as I printed all the layers instead of just mine. I agree with the other reviews that the sleeve was a bit too big and I had to cut off 2.5inches along the center back panels and the skirt pieces to make it fit me perfect. Now with my modifications I will definitely be making this in another fabric. I feel amazing in this dress!

Such a cute dress! I had a bit of trouble with having too much fabric at the sleeves. I fixed this by just gathering the fabric a bit more before attaching them for a tighter fit. The instructions were super helpful and I very much appreciated the video. My first time trying an invisible zip and it turned out perfect! ❤️

The pattern is sweet and easy to make. The video tutorial was very helpful. I would suggest sizing down if you are in between two sizes. And yes, there is a little problem matching the sleeves to the bodice l, but this can be fixed easily, If you have some sewing experience. Fabric suggestion would bei nice, though.

Me encanta! Tuve problemas con las mangas, debido a que estas no calzaban con el patrón (eran más grandes) sin embargo recomiendo medirlas antes o aumentar unos 3 cm a cada lado del canal para el elástico superior

The pattern was great but it does run small. I hope you post a more detailed video with a serger.

The dress came out cute. There was more built in ease than I expected. I had to make some adjustments, but now I know, I will size down. It was easy to put together.

This pattern was amazing! I was able to turn an old sheet into a dress in a daay! The pattern was a great price and the video was so helpful for me, hardly needed to use my seem ripper, which is saying something.. Lol thank you so much for this patter!!
